Neptunes Producer Pharrell is set to be the keynote speaker for 2010 Midem conference in France. According to Vibe.com Williams will deliver the keynote in Cannes, France, where Midem takes place each year. Mr.Williams will address the impact of technology on the music industry and his vision of the future for the business.
Just a little background for those of you that have never heard of this....Midem is the world's largest music industry trade fair, which has been held annually at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, since 1967. Bringing together musicians, businesspeople, cultural policy makers, and journalists from many countries, it provides a forum for business talks, discussing political and legal issues, and showcasing new artists, musical trends and music-related products.
I don't know about you guys But I can't wait to hear more material from Pharrell...I'll even take N.E.R.D, He's been away for a minute so we all know he's cooking up something good....
