Interview With Peyton Manning!!!

Ms.A: SAU we have the big man on campus Mr.Peyton Manning...Wassup Homeskillet??

Peyton: How you doing today Ms.A and SAU I'm so happy to be here!

Ms.A: No the question is how are you? You ready for Sunday?

Peyton: I'm doing great and feeling good, I'm ready for Sunday and I'm very excited !

Ms.A: So getting right into it, your going against your home team on sports biggest stage....How does it feel?



Peyton: You know Ms.A, I try not to think about it like that, but I cant help but have butterflies! I'm a true New Orleans boy born and raised.

Ms.A: Man I'd have dragon flies!!!

Peyton: LOL to see the Saints in the Super Bowl really makes me proud for everything that the city has been through, and the recovery, the city of New Orleans deserve to be here!


Ms.A: I totally agree 100%!

Ms.A: Last off season your old coach Tony Dungy decided to retire, we all know you both were very close so how was it transitioning to Jim Caldwell?

Peyton: Its been a smooth transition, Tony is gone now but Jim has been on the staff for years so we know him and we feel comfortable with him. This year has been great!



Ms.A: obviously it has!!

Ms.A: How has your dad Archie Manning reacted to you playing against the saints this Sunday?

Peyton: Man he is pulling for me thankfully! It was kind of up in the air for awhile LOL, but he's so proud of me and he is so happy and proud for the city of New Orleans

Ms.A: Going into Sunday,your star defensive end Dwight Freeney is questionable due to a severe ankle sprain..how does that affect your game plans against the Saints High powered offense?

Peyton: Well you know Dwight is a PLAYER and he will try his best to be out there, but if he cant we have 3 other DE's that will have to step up and rise to the occasion!

Ms.A: and they're ready right?

Peyton: Yes ma'am you know it, there ready to go!


Ms.A: Mr.manning when its all said and done, where do you feel your place in history will be?

Peyton: You know, I like to leave that up to the experts to figure out, all I can do is go out and do my best! Give all I have for the next few years and where ever I land its OK I know personally that I have done my best.



Ms.A: Check Peyton frontin' like he's not the best!

Peyton: LOL thank you Ms.A!

Ms.A: Well your pulling this one for Team SAU we don't want to have to demote you to JV!!

Peyton: OK I don't want to get demoted that's why I'm going to give it my best!

Peyton: Oh yeah I'm ready to keep it 100 like the Birdman

Ms.A: LMFAO!!!!! I bet y'all didn't know Peyton was the homie right SAU?

Peyton: y'all didn't know I'm a real New Orleans boy at heart! Let me stop before they start saying I'm going for the Saints LOL but what you got for me Ms.A?

Ms.A: So your fourth NFL MVP award...did you deserve it?

Peyton: LOL I don't know if I deserve it but I worked hard this year

Ms.A: that you did!

Peyton: But Drew Brees and Brett Farve had great years this year so it could have gone to anyone of us
