Oscar Conversations With George Clooney.....

Ms.A: SAU Sororities...Please welcome Mr.George Clooney.. How are you today George?

George: How are you guys doing today? I'm so happy to be here with all of you lovely ladies?

Ms.A: WHEW, well I'm not too sure about everyone else but I'm having a beautiful day now!

George: awww thank you so much I'm so excited to be here at SAU this is the baddest blog on the net in my opinion!

Ms.A: AWWWW thank you so much! Now are you ready for the big day Sunday?

George: I'm very ready for Sunday I'm so excited and I cant wait to see what happens Its a long show so I'm gonna have to be ready to sit there for 4 hours, but hopefully I will win and it will be all worth it!

Ms.A: Your movie "up in the air" has landed 6 Oscar Nods including your nod for "Best Actor In A Leading Role"....That ones all yours right?




George: LOL I hope so but there are a lot of great Actors up for it this year so its going to be a hard one!

Ms.A: Over the years does getting nominated have the same affect it had when you heard about your first nod ever ?

George: You know it does have the same affect because when you take on a new project its like your starting all over, so when you get a nod for the current work you do its great! That feeling never gets old

Ms.A: So out of all the scripts you receive what made you say yes to the part of Ryan Bingham?




George: Great question Ms.A!

Ms.A: So it was the frequent flyer miles huh?

George: LOL it was I love to travel!

George:But a lot of times when I look at scripts for me its like I want to see if I can relate or bring myself to be the person and when I read the script I instantly thought WOW! How much fun would this be?

Ms.A: So at this years Academy Awards the best Picture category now has 10 nominees as opposed to the normal 5...good thing or bad thing?

George: I think its a bad thing

Ms.A: OK....

George: Very bad. There was no need to change it at all. Now its like you have the first tier movies than the second tier. I think they should go back to 5. Getting a nod for that is very hard and I'm not in favor of making it easier

Ms.A: Mr.Clooney it was an honor having you here today congrats on all your nods and Good Luck Sunday!

George: Thank you so much I really enjoyed my time here with you guys today you keep up the great work Ms.A and I know I'm gonna see you on TV one day!
