Bare With Us SAU......

Whats taking us so long to come back you ask?....Perfection takes time SAU and you guys deserve the absolute best..I aim to please ;)

Not too much longer!!!!!....

**Official SAU Report Card** Beyonce's "4"

"4". A pretty simple number when it comes to most people, but true fans of Beyonce' must know this only means one thing. You guessed it! Beyonce's 4th album aptly titled "4" hits your shelves today. One can only wonder what to expect from this magical disc, or download that just so happens to blast Beyonce's latest material into your ears so, join us for a sit down...

At the press of a button, the album starts off with something that sounds foreign in this day and age, a ballad. The emotional "1+1" strips Beyonce' down from the on stage "prowess", to bare vocals that are so full, make you feel fully clothed. lyrics like: "When the world's at war/let our love heal us all", shows us a different side of Beyonce' that from play smells faintly of lyrical legacy. The ride continues with a woman scorn on "I Care". Solemn as can be beat wise, which matched the vocal pain without competing with the "story", that is until a bright light in the form of this chorus wakes the male listener up completely, and flows into Beyonce competing with a roaring guitar taking her vocal ability to another level, also the first sight of her ever growing vocal range.

We stay on complete cruise control through "I Miss You", & "Best Thing I Never Had", without having to turn on a signal, or switch to gas, being that one shows the same venerable Beyonce', and "Best Thing I Never Had" wakes up from her crying corner, and waves goodbye with a: "Thank God you blew it/thank God I dodged the bullet/I'm so over you/so baby good looking out/". But a fast, swift, and complete BRAKE comes when the Kanye West produced " Party" hits, and the memorization of the basic "ABC" song hit my cranium with every punch of this stale beat. Lyrics that try to disown the wheel chair, (aka "stand alone") end up completely falling flat on its face with a nice size ouch!

The baffling lyrics:

"I told my friends you can get it" and "your touch is driving me cra-zay".......

Made me ask myself "was this 14 time Grammy award winning producer doing a song for "Girls Tyme"? or Beyonce the 16 time Grammy award winner?" To add a lately unseen, and very talented Andre 3000 in this mix of "plumfuckfoolery" was outrageous in every stretch of the imagination, and to act like the song isn't there would do a justice to the album as a whole. VERY lazy track.VERY lazy.

Moving on...With our ears back on track, "Rather Die Young"- a very sweet song that helps us over come the previous effort. this one's reminiscent of early puppy love, with a man that "drives to fast and smokes to much", but its nothing when you have a feisty Beyonce that's "addicted to the rush". Through this one Beyonce' continues to show vocal growth, weaving in and out through "Start Over". The Song "Countdown" Which starts off rocky, but reminds us of the older "B-day" Beyonce, helps us signal towards an exit until we hit the monster track, "End Of Time", Which is the strongest "single ready" song on the album hands down. The Jaw dropping Diane Warren penned "I Was Here" makes for a beautiful ending to complete the journey and we end where we began with " Run The World" (Girls).

Another Day Another Push Back...

This friendly face will not be on our local shelves this July, but rather a detour until August is what we can now expect. Yup! you heard right, the next edition of "The Carter" (Which is "The Carter IV")will now hit stores August 29th. Not all bad news though, Last week the Lil' Wayne released a new single titled "How To Love" and although VERY different from what we're used to hearing from Wayne... You know damn what SAU? I'm starting to like it! I know, I know, the hardcore fans from "that boot" might call it "sell out-esq" but who says the man can't grow as an artist? I mean hey, the singing has actually gotten better, and it doesn't sound like a violent trip to the bathroom anymore... nice topic aswell...

Throwback Of The Day: Goodie Mob Ft Outkast "Black Ice" (Sky High)

Many people know the very creative Cee-Lo of now but remembering that Cee-Lo was initially in a down south group known as "Goodie Mob" would flip some out. One of my favorite songs "Black Ice" (Sky High) will forever remain...In my book atleast Love it below...

Left Behind:The Verve "Bittersweet Symphony"

A song that sounds so poetic instrumentally, that is until the beat drops and can "bang" across all genres including Hip Hop and classical. Only peaking at #2 in the U.K. and #12 in the U.S? This has to be left behind.

"Bitter Sweet Symphony" is a song by English alternative rock band The Verve, the lead track on their third album, Urban Hymns. It is based on music from an Andrew Loog Oldham adaptation of a Rolling Stones song, "The Last Time." It was released on 16 June 1997 as the first single from the album, reaching number two on the UK Singles Chart. The song's momentum built slowly in the United States throughout the latter months of 1997, ultimately leading to a CD single release on 3 March 1998, helping the song to reach number twelve on the Billboard Hot 100. The song also became famous for the legal controversy surrounding plagiarism charges. It was the 79th best selling single in the United States in 1998. In the Triple J Hottest 100 of All Time, 2009 (an online music poll conducted by the Australian radio station Triple J) the track was voted the 14th best song of all time.

...and is so beautiful that it sparks creativity on the spot!

Billboard: Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" album debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 1,108,000 copies sold in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. "Born This Way" also marks Gaga's first No. 1 album -- "The Fame" debut peaked at No. 2, while "The Fame Monster" EP reached No. 5 and dance effort "The Remix" hit No. 6.

"Born This Way's" bow reaps the largest sales week of any album since 50 Cent's "The Massacre" did 1,141,000 in its first week, in March of 2005. The last time we had a million-plus frame was when Taylor Swift's "Speak Now" premiered at No. 1 with 1,047,000 in November of 2010. Bite your knuckles and cringe under your sheets, the assassin has confessed to us all who they are. A brother sister Duo who actually get along in the form of music...Different right? That's the Swedish-American duo Dag for Dag, which consists of Brother and Sister Sarah and Jacob Snavely. This haunting song "I am The Assassin" caught my ear something serious after I listened to it...Stopped...thought about it, and came up with this, Follow me: The song is called "I am The Assassin" but taking the title a tad bit deeper could be looked as something on the lines of "Genius". Looking at the drum pattern as "the chase", the singing as taunting us (the chaser), and the brief break at 1:18 as it is, but a smooth transition and start up again you get a full 2:06 chase folks what does the assassin do? Stay on the run :0..So so so so sweet! You guys follow me? Chase The Assassin Below
