Here's how the National Post is reporting it:Concert promoter Live Nation announced late Thursday that the Kanye West and Lady Gaga “Fame Kill”s tour has been cancelled.
The North American tour which was going to visit more than 30 cities was scheduled to kick off next month.
The hip hop mogul was supposed to perform in a number of Canadian cities including Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.
All those shows, along with the U.S. dates, have been cancelled.
Live Nation said refunds will be made available at the point of purchase.
Tickets purchased online and via phone will be refunded automatically, the company said in a news release.
No reasons were given as to why the highly anticipated tour has been cancelled.
The outspoken West is most known for a number of chart-topping hits including “Jesus Walks” and “Gold Digger.”
West was highly criticized last month for jumping onto the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards and denouncing country crooner Taylor Swift’s award win.
