USA Today reports: Once-disgraced quarterback Michael Vick has reached an endorsement deal with Nike, two years after sponsors abandoned him following his conviction in a federal dogfighting ring.
Mike Principe, the managing director for the BEST agency that represents Vick, announced the deal on stage at a forum run by SportsBusiness Journal. He would not reveal details about the deal.
"Mike has had a great relationship with Nike and is excited to be part of the Nike team again," Vick's personal agent, Joel Segal, told SBJ. Segal told the paper Nike and Vick had agreed not to discuss terms of the deal.
