Can I Get A Sample?.....

Many of you may not know that the infamous "A House Is Not A Home" a remake it self. "A House Is Not a Home" is a 1964 song recorded by singer Dionne Warwick. Written by the team of Burt Bacharach and Hal David, the song was a modest hit in the U.S. for Warwick, peaking at #71 on the pop singles chart. The song has been covered by many artists including: Diana Ross & the Surpremes & Barbra Streisand. The Song became an instant hit when later covered by R&B singer Luther Vandross, whose version became an R&B hit in 1981. His performance of the song at the NAACP Awards telecast would bring Warwick to tears.

Fastforward about 24 years Kanye West took a liking to this one of a kind song, put his spin on it and out comes Twista Ft Jamie Foxx and Kanye West's Grammy nominated song "Slow Jamz". Released in 2003, the single, which features Kanye West and Jamie Foxx peaked at number one in the USA for a week on February 10, 2004 becoming Twista's, West's and Foxx's first number one single. (The song can be heard on both Twista's "Kamikaze" album, and Kanye West's "College Dropout")
