New Music: My Chemical Romance "SING"....
"SING", is My Chemical Romance's third single from their fourth studio album, "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys" that hits stores Nov 11th. The song starts off giving us spacey commander type vocals, with the track behind Gerard Way's vocals building by the second, halfway climaxing with hardcore anthem chorus "Sing it for the boys/Sing it for the girls/every time that you lose it sing it for the world"/. I can totally agree with Trash hits' review of the song saying that it "Jangles in a Depeche Mode style" (who were known for their spacey Martian-esq sound on many of their tracks) but you can definitely hear the U2 influence here.
This single has the potential to hit! I wasn't too much of a fan of their previous single "Na Na Na" being that it did't showcase the control over Way's vocals and we all know I'm a sucker for a nice voice. Although in a rock track of mid tempo its not about the vibrato its more about the tone, and flow of the song in general "SING" does it for me.
