The Fray's Humble version of Heartless made the Alternative side of music realize how much of an impact a song could really make when written just right...If you can take "Rap" lyrics and transform them into something that sounds this melodic and make you forget it was first a "Rap" song....It must be something...

With Kris Allen not having too much to YIPPIE about..When he performed this VERY spontaneous version of Heartless on American Idol it made me go..ERRRR? (In a good way) with him stretching the Fray's version into a very melodic acoustic version that made him sound like a completely upgraded artist (If only for a moment) the song went to completely different level artistically...

Jason Derulo = WTF version


Ok So Jason Derulo decided to cover Heartless, and while I'm not going to completely bash the guy being that he had major Balls to cover this one, I will say his vocal trainer should be damned pissed at parts of this version...If Jason could just move his tounge out the way of his vocal flow, Open his mouth and stop with the sexual squeaks at the beginning of the verses, he just might be ok after all. In the end this just came off as too much of a song for Jason (although the melody is SO simple)you gotta know when to hold em'....know when to fold em' bud...
