Linkin Park's "A Thousand Suns" has to be one of the most anticipated albums of this year thus far. The Rick Rubin produced album is projected to sell around 250-260k. Amazing for the times that we are in now but "Minutes to Midnight" moved a total of 623k its first week of release in May ’07. 07' seems so far away right?
On the other Hand the new release by Trey Songz Passion, Pain and Pleasure,(his 4th album) according to hitsdailydouble.com is on target for 220-230k, a substantial increase over his 2009 release, Ready, which moved 131k on its way to a total of 785k. Looks like regardless to the feelings some people have regarding Trey, and the release of Passion,Pain,and Pleasure that seemed to come so quick being that "Say Ahh" rode the charts for a nice time, The singer is still pushing albums left and right.
In other Trey news the singer is scheduled to go on tour with Usher for his "OMG" Tour.
I hope LP comes in at #1 there is no way Trey Songz ass can be #1
