Is Ms. Winehouse close to dropping her own material for the world to hear?...Not too sure about that but rumor has it is that the singer is set to record her own version of Lesley Gore's 1963 hit 'It's My Party' for Quincy Jones' upcoming "Q: Soul Bossa Nostra" album. Her close collaborator Mark Ronson produced the track." “It’s My Party” was one of Jones’ first major pop production credits before his legendary work with Michael Jackson...sometimes we forget that Mr. Jones did have a career before this monstrous production/writing he did with the King himself but with a voice as Winehouse has (Or we hope she still has) this song should be right up her alley with the Bluesy/doo woop song and a wonderful contribution to the album.
