What a Sad Day...... 4 year Anniversary Of Hurricane Katrina
On this day 4 years ago Hurricane Katrina Hit New Orleans and surrounding areas in Louisiana. People were forced to move from their homes only to return a month later and see that their many families, friends, houses, and property weren't there anymore. Today at SAU I'm going to dedicate my blog to the many artists, and athletes that have come from N.O....Please take this day to reflect and be thankful because that could have been anyone of us.
But Im so happy you did this tribute this was so nice of you.Because I have to say I have met so many people from New Orleans and they have more fire and fight in them than any group of people that I have ever met.Godbless them it was so wrong how our own country did them and I hope one day they will get back on there feet.
Yet again this blog shocks me with its uniqueness,No other blog has posted things on Katrina Ms. A I applaud you and thank you for being so amazing God bless New Orleans!
I remember watching the storm on CNN when it was happening and I didnt have a full grasp of it until I watched this special Spike Lee did and I cried all the way through it.The people of New Orleans didnt deserve how our government treated them and hopefully one day the city will grow again.
This tragedy broke my heart and I have to agree N.O people are some of the strongest people you will ever meet.I thing George Bush needs to be thrown in jail for his acts after Katrina because it was sure as hell criminal
I never understood how big of a disaster this was and how it affected so many people until yesterday.I watched the documentary when the levee breaks and I ried and my heart really goes out to the people of New Orleans.
God Bless the people of New Orleans I have been down there for Mardi Gras a few times there is noting like tht city and the people and the food are so nice.I hope before Obama gets out of office he will really rebuild that city.
Man Im so happy the site came back up today.
