With Lloyd's last album "Lessons of Love" it was strictly R&B but this one is geared more to the pop ears. I actually like this song..Natasha Bedingfield comes in with the ad libs kinda Awkward but the song it ok as a whole.

I just have this problem with producers not pushing Keri's vocals..I mean she has something boiling up but noone has tapped into her full potential I think this song could have been ok but due to the lack of pressing her it came out very bland like a unsalted tater chip..
Akon: "Strawberry Letter"
Akon you got the Strawberry letter 22 sample cleared by Brothers Johnson and you came up with this? The original song had so much variety, It could've been chopped up much better than this someone has to agree with me....Whoever did this beat shouldn't be a happy camper with the end result!
Jamie Foxx Ft T.I& Justin Timberlake:"Winner"
Um....many might disagree with me on this one but I don't think this song is the winner it proclaims to be something sounds off weather it be the beat or actual singing by JT and Jamie..The beat does go hard when T.I come in but thats about it!
Chris Brown:"What It Do"
I like it! The beat rides really nice and Chris Brown did his thing on the Verses it kinda takes me back to the first CB album...you can't deny the guy is still really good!

ReplyDeleteAlso with the radio stations not getting alot of money they dont have the capacity to play lots of different types of music as they did before.If your song is not going at 140 BPM you can forget about airplay.So a song like Need Me now is a rarity and its amazing that it has been able to get play.
