America's Sweetheart Taylor Swift graces the cover of Marie Claire in the July 2010 issue. In the issue Taylor talks about a variety of things including why singing is the easiest way to get over a break up...

“Everyone in my life knows whenever something happens, the only way it’s going to be over and finished and put to bed is if it’s written about,” the 19-year-old country cutie tells the mag.

Taylor, whose written songs about past boyfriends, adds that she always has the person in mind when coming up with her lyrics

“When I sit down and write a song the only person that I’m thinking about in that room is the person that I’m writing the song about and what I want them to know and what I wish I could tell them to their face, but I’m going to say it in a song instead.”
