Carrie Underwood Sweeps The CMT's...


Hosted By Kid Rock and held in Nashville, The evening was set with Cowboy hats and the love for country music at this year's CMT's. Carrie Underwood went home with two trophies for: Video of the Year (“Cowboy Casanova”) and Performance of the Year (“Temporary Home”),Carrie lost out to Miranda Lambert’s White Liar for Female Video of the Year but she still came out the big winner of the evening.

Other winners included Lady Antebellum (group video for "Need You Now"), Miranda Lambert (female video for "White Liar") and Urban (male video for "'Til Summer Comes Around"). Shelton and Adkins shared the collaborative video award for "Hillbilly Bone," and Bryan won the USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year award for "Do I." Silva was named video director of the year for his work on Kenny Chesney's "Out Last Night" and Rascal Flatts' "Summer Nights." Chris Young became the recipient of the Nationwide Insurance On Your Side award dedicated to new artists.
